Call for Art Submissions / Naughti Gras 13.5 (NG14)
As we reflect and talk about the past year, the event missed by so many, was of course, Naughti Gras. With overwhelming inquiry and suggestions, we are beginning to make plans for Naughti Gras 13 (And A Half!), Koken Art Factory’s Summer version of its Erotic Art and Entertainment Event! Though the Mardi Gras Season has passed, we are putting on a sizzling hot, sultry twist to the show! We are excited to announce our “Call For Art” invite to new and past Artists. Be a part of this fun, Sexy, Summer Weekend!
We are seeking art presented in all media and styles. Please submit your unique work portraying the playful and provocative side of art. Just about anything goes! We are simply looking for tasteful erotic artwork.

SUBMISSION For Consideration GUIDELINES:
Online Submissions: There is no fee for submitting artwork for consideration. You can submit as many pieces of art as you like.

– All artists must be at least 18 years of age.
– All submissions must have an EROTIC theme.
– All submissions must be of original design and personal execution.
– Artwork submitted to previous Naughti Gras exhibitions will not be accepted.
Prepare your submission images beforehand according to the instructions below. Failure to follow these basic guidelines may result in your work being omitted from the selection process.
-If you are submitting more than one piece of work, your submissions must be sent at the same time, using one email ONLY. Sending multiple emails can cause confusion.
-You may submit as many pieces as you like. Upload only ONE (1) photo of each piece.
-File Types accepted: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .pdf
-Very Important: Your Images CANNOT be any larger than 1MB (1024 kb)
-Each Image MUST be named in this way:
First Name_Last Name_Title, (Example: John_Smith_Footlover.jpg).
-Your email submission will be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
It MUST include the following info: Your (REAL) name, address, phone number, and email. Then the number of pieces submitted, name of each piece, media, size in inches and price in the order they are uploaded. If you go by a nickname you can include that also.
-Artists with works selected to be included in the show will be notified via email. Upon acceptance, artists will receive the waiver information. ALL Artists must sign a waiver.
–Accepted Art Work and Entry Fee: This year there is one fee of 40.00 to enter the show. Though you can submit as many pieces as you like for viewing and consideration, our Judging committee will determine how many of your pieces can be accepted based on size and similar-like images.
– Acceptance Notification
There is no set deadline for acceptance notification. However, judging shall be done soon after art work is submitted and viewed by the Art Event Committee. We ask all those submitting work to be patient during the review process. Upon review, Artists will be notified in due time, via email, about participation status for the show. There are only a finite number of spaces for art work depending on quantity, size and similar-like images of art submitted. This process will allocate space on a first come first serve basis until space is gone.
-We will notify you, please do not email us inquiring as to the status of your submission(s).
Accepted NG13 artists will receive FREE admission to the event for both nights, a guest ticket for both nights and one complimentary drink ticket for both nights. The Koken Art Factory wants its submitting artists to know that Naughti Gras is our signature event of the year, and MANY pieces sell in our shows. We do not take a commission on ANY art sales. An information table staffed by the Koken Art Factory will assist with art purchase inquiries and forms. Art purchase inquiries will be available to artists the following week during Art Pick Up. Art MUST hang for the duration of the Naughti Gras weekend.
