NG14

Dear Friends of Koken,

As we approach one week away from Naughti Gras 14, we wanted to reach out to share with you the extra safety measures we are putting in place for staff, performers, artists and patrons. We are in awe of the good nature and encouragement by everyone involved in making this event happen during the pandemic … Just when we thought we were good, Covid has reared its ugly head again. After much thought and consideration, we decided to carry on with the event but under the guidance from health professionals and our own research. Having observed events held recently in Texas, Florida and Chicago, we decided to follow the Chicago protocol taken during Lollapalooza Festival last weekend.

The protocol we are about to share is what we believe will keep everyone safe and feeling comfortable throughout the weekend. We are not going to let Covid spoil our fun!  But we need everyone on board with us.

Health Protocol for NG 14

  • All Staff, Performers, Artists and Patrons must show proof of half vaccine, full vaccine or negative test result within 72 hours prior to day of show.
  • We will follow the current Mask Mandate in the city of St. Louis. All entering must wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking. Be creative; it’s an Art Show!
  • (We have an abundance of Masks available for the weekend)
  • We will provide “safe zone areas” throughout the building where you must wear a mask at all times.
  • All staff, performers, artists and patrons will have their temperature taken. Anyone with an elevated temperature will not be admitted.

We understand that this might be unsettling to some but a comfort to others. Our motivation is for everyone to go home after a great show and feeling well. We love this Art Show but we especially love the incredible people who continue to support the show.  We can do this and still have an amazing time together. Let’s have a Party!

Location: Koken Art Factory, 2500 Ohio Ave.

Auralie Wilde has been intoxicating burlesque audiences since 2011. Known as the “smart Mouth of burlesque”, her sharp tongue and quick wit has taken her to stages all over the world, including NYC, London, Alaska, Amsterdam and more! In 2016 she embarked on a 10-week Honeymoon Tour across the US, as well as founded the Heartland Bombshells in Iowa City. After relocating to St Louis in 2018, she has enjoyed producing, performing, and hosting shows all over the gateway region.

Justin Time: Burlesque

Holding a bachelor’s in sex appeal and a masters in saxophone performance, his musicality and smooth moves are no stranger to the stage. He’s never too early, he’s never too late, he’s Justin Time.

Chi Chi Buxuom: Burlesque

Chi Chi Buxuom started her burlesque journey at Lola Van Ella’s burlesque studio in St. Louis, MO. From student to kitten to joining the home town troupe The BonBons she has now traveled from city to city shaking her stuff for the Buxom Blaze, Ohio, Kansas city and Show-Me burlesque festivals. From every rock n roll beat, to slow and seductive move, she’s making sure the world knows every size is sexy. She the “Girl with the Bust and a Plus size Thurst”

Cadaver Daddy-O: Drag

Born and Raised in the bottom of a well, Cadaver Daddy-O was lured out one day with a bag of Taco Bell and the sound of Rock ‘n’ Roll. As one of St Louis’ premiere spooky, goofy, genderfucky, drag things, Cadaver prides himself on being equal parts satanic and panic.

Charm LaRoux: Burlesque/ Contortion

Charm LaRoux has been dancing more than half of her life, and she is as bendy as she is beautiful. She started her burlesque career back in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. Now a proud member of Glimmer Cabaret, Miss LaRoux has dedicated herself to the art of pole dance.

Cheery Blossom: Burlesque

Cheery is a member of the bonbons. She’s known as the sweet contradiction with a heavy metal addiction. She combines the graceful elements of classic burlesque to the grinding beats of heavy metal. She’ll melt your face and steal your heart… she’s Cheery Blossom!

Evelyn Invert: Burlesque

The Upside Down Flirt, Evelyn Invert has previously been a part of Naughti Gras as a naked sushi model, was a naked vampire in drawing by Shawn Gaston, and this year is excited to be naked onstage. She’s a burlesque dancer, aerialist, a five time Retro Lovely Pin Up Magazine cover model, and a Crack Fox karaoke singer.  She is soon to be a long distance member of The Bon-Bons Burlesque Troupe as she is set to move to Los Angeles, California in just a few weeks. Naughti Gras will be one of her final performances as a St. Louis local.

Josie Laveau: Burlesque

Hailing from New Orleans, Josie Laveau draws her inspiration from jazz and Old Hollywood. She’s been gracing the stages in St Louis with her sexy sultry style since 2019. Truly the sweetest Bitch you’ll ever meet, she’s Josie Laveau “The Creole Goddess “

Holly MissBehavin: Burlesque/ Artist

Holley MissBehavin’ has been dancing up a storm since the age of 8 when she started staking ballet, tap, and jazz classes. Being in the STL art scene as a pop art artist, Holley met many inspiring performers who encouraged her a few years ago to follow her dream of dancing for audiences again in the form of burlesque. Her style has been described as a lil raz and daz, a touch a sass, and a whole lotta ass!   She’s not only a performer in this show, but an artist as well. Be sure to check out her amazingly booty-full pop art on display while you are here!

The HUNKS showcases some of the Sexiest Men Alive as they sing, dance and strip in choreographed routines to thumping beats! Millions of women around the world have experienced the heat and thrill of the HUNKS, and now it’s your turn.  Don’t miss this Magic Mike Experience.

Parking NG 14

Parking for Naughti Gras 14 will only be street parking available this year for Naughti Gras.

Though there is quite a bit of street parking available, we also want to encourage to Carpool, use Uber, Lyft or Taxi services.

As always, we have hired Security to patrol the streets, making sure everyone gets to and from the venue safely.   In addition, these officers will be riding in oversized golf carts to provide you a courtesy ride to the venue.   Please be respectful of the residential street sides and try to avoid parking in front of homes.

The street offering the most parking is on Ohio Ave. Parking on Ohio stretches from Gravois to Geyer. These are long blocks but there will be golf carts zipping back and forth for you to hopefully catch and get a ride to the venue.

Please see the attached map and note the highlighted red side streets that will be available.  Again, try to avoid parking in front of homes.
